Ingredients: 450g/1 lb self-raising flour 50g/2oz caster sugar 110g/4oz margarine 1 egg, beaten Milk Method: 1. Preheat the oven to 210°C/fan 190°C. 2. Put flour and sugar into a mixing bowl, then rub in the margarine. 3. Add the beaten egg with sufficient milk to make a soft dough. 4. Put on a floured surface and roll to ½ inch thickness. 5. Cut with a knife or pastry cutter, brush over with egg wash or a little milk and put on a floured baking tray. 6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 mins.
