Nutella and cinnamon cake Print E-mail

Ingredients: 

170g/6oz caster sugar

170g/6oz butter, softened

3 eggs

200g/7oz plain flour

4 tsp cinnamon

4 tsp baking powder

4 tbsp milk

4 tbsp Nutella

Chopped almonds (or other type of nuts)

 

Method:

Preheat the oven to 180°C/fan 160°C and line a round cake tin with greaseproof paper. Beat the eggs, sugar and butter together in a bowl. Add flour with baking powder, cinnamon and milk and keep beating until smooth. Put ¾ of the mixture into the lined baking tin, smooth the surface and spread Nutella on top. Put the rest of the mixture on top of it and smooth again. Sprinkle with almonds and bake for about 50mins.
