Chicken and rice (for babies from 7 months) |

Ingredients: (Serves 2) 75g/3oz chicken fillet 50g/2oz mixed vegetables (carrots, parsnips etc.) ½ cup of rice 150ml/ ¼pt water Method: 1. Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces. 2. Wash, peel and chop mix vegetables. 3. Simmer the chicken and vegetables in the water for 20-30 mins until tender. Drain and save the stock. 4. Cook the rice in boiling water for 12-15 mins, then strain it in the sieve and pour boiling water through to remove starch. 5. Mix the chicken, rice and vegetables together, add a little stock to moisten and mash or puree.
