One pot chicken purée (for babies from 6 months) Print E-mail

Ingredients:
1 small parsnip, peeled and sliced
1 tsp oil
110g/4oz chicken breast, cut into chunks
3 medium potatoes, peeled and chopped
1 medium carrot, peeled and sliced
300ml/ ½ pt water

Method:
1. Heat the oil in a pan, add the parsnip and cook gently for 2-3 mins.
2. Add chicken and cook for another 2-3 mins.
3. Add potatoes, carrot and water, bring to the boil and simmer, covered, for about 20 mins or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
4. Purée in a blender until the desired consistency, adding more water or milk if necessary.

(suitable for freezing)
