Meatballs in cheese sauce |

Ingredients: (Serves 4) 600g/1 lb 5 ½ oz minced beef 1 egg 3 cloves garlic, crushed Breadcrumbs 1 tsp paprika 1 tsp basil Salt Oil for frying Sauce: 300ml/ ½pt fresh cream 3 tbsp ketchup 250g/9oz Laughing cow cheese 1 tsp basil Salt, pepper Method: 1. With your hands mix together meat, egg, garlic and seasoning. 2. Add enough breadcrumbs so that the mixture isn’t too soggy and mix thoroughly. 3. Shape the mixture into meatballs and fry them turning occasionally until browned on all sides. 4. In the meantime heat the cream in a deep pan and add the ketchup and basil. 5. Mash the cheese down with a fork and add to the sauce. 6. Simmer for 3 mins, stirring with a whisk until the cheese melts. 7. Transfer the cooked meatballs into the sauce and simmer for another 5 mins. Serve with pasta.
