Creamy hot pot Print E-mail

Ingredients: (Serves 4)

450g/1 lb minced beef

1 tbsp oil

1 onion, chopped

1 can Cream of celery soup

275ml/ ½pt milk

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

4 large potatoes, thinly sliced

Salt, pepper

 

Method:

1. Heat the oil in a large pan, add meat and onion and fry stirring continuously for 5 mins until there is no pink in the meat.

2. Stir in the soup mixture, milk and Worcestershire sauce and simmer for 10 mins. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Preheat the oven to 200°C/fan 180°C.

4. Spoon the meat mixture into a casserole dish and top with sliced potatoes.

5. Season with salt and bake for 30 mins until the potatoes are tender.
