Creamy spaghetti with bacon |

Ingredients: (Serves 4)  500g pack spaghetti 200g pack bacon bits 1 tbsp olive oil 1 courgette, sliced into thin strips (about an inch long) 500 ml/ 17½ fl oz fresh cream 200g/7oz white cheddar, grated salt Method: Cook the spaghetti according to directions on pack. Meanwhile heat the oil in a pan and fry the bacon bits for a minute or two. Add the sliced courgette and fry for another 2 minutes. Pour in the cream and bring to boil. Reduce the heat and stir in about a quarter of the grated cheddar. Stir until the sauce thickens and simmer for 3-5 minutes. Season with salt. Drain the spaghetti, return to the pan and pour in the sauce. Put the spaghetti onto warm plates, top with grated cheese and serve with garlic bread.
