Ingredients: 10 white onions & 10 red onions (all same size) 4 tbsp sultanas 6 tbsp marsala or port wine 4 tbsp pine nuts Olive oil Salt Method: 1. Soak the sultanas in the marsala or port wine overnight. 2. Preheat the oven to 190°C/fan 170°C. 3. Peel the onions and arrange them tightly in a baking dish. 4. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and bake for 30 mins. 5. Pour in the wine with the sultanas, sprinkle with pine nuts and bake for another 30 mins. 6. Baked onions can be served hot or cold and are ideal accompaniment to roast meat.
