Baked asparagus with prosciutto & brie Print E-mail

Ingredients: (Serves 2)  

Bunch of asparagus

2 slices of prosciutto ham, cut into strips

8 slices of brie cheese

Olive oil

Salt

 

Method:

1. Cut off and discard the coarse woody ends of the asparagus stalks, then put the asparagus into a large pan of boiling water. Add a good pinch of salt and simmer for 10 mins.

2. Preheat the oven to 220°C/fan 200°C.

3. Drizzle some olive oil on the bottom of two shallow ovenproof dishes.

4. Divide the asparagus between the two dishes, top with prosciutto strips and slices of brie.

5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 mins and serve as a starter or a side dish.
